Tailor Allied Health is pleased to announce that Clinical Psychologist Sarah Zimmerman has earned the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) certification, following over two years of intensive study and 60 hours of specialised training. This advanced credential significantly enhances her proficiency in the assessment and differential diagnosis of Autism and co-occurring ADHD (AuDHD) through a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens. By utilising updated lifespan frameworks, Sarah is equipped to identify internalised presentations and "masking"—particularly in girls and women—while distinguishing neurodivergence from trauma-related symptoms. This specialist knowledge ensures a clinically rigorous diagnostic process that prioritises an accurate neurobiological understanding as the foundation for effective, affirming client support.
